Wangdue Phodrang is one of the largest Dzongkhags (district) in Bhutan and most part of it falls under protected national parks. The glacial valley of Phobjikha, a popular destination for tourists, falls under Wangdue Phodrang district. It also has several historical sites and offers beautiful trekking adventures.
